Places to Eat: Fogo de Chao Opens on Las Olas Boulevard

Brazilian Steakhouse Fogo de Chao is now open on Las Olas Boulevard in downtown Fort Lauderdale, joining other major metro cities with a location.

It joins other upscale places to eat like Eddie V's, YOLO, and Timpano in its move to the area.

Fogo’s fifth Florida restaurant will be at The Main Las Olas, a 1.4 million-square-foot, mixed-use community. Fogo.com.

Things to Do: Fort Lauderdale Jazz Brunch

Sunday, May 7th will have the monthly Jazz Brunch from 11am - 2pm along the Fort Lauderdale Riverwalk. Developed by the Fort Lauderdale Parks & Recreation Division, local jazz artists perform in Esplanade Park while attendees are able to walk along the Riverwalk, utilizing the Water Taxi and local food truck vendors. The Riverwalk Trust will be hosting their annual Smoke on the Water BBQ Feast & Competition at Fort Lauderdale's Esplanade Park (400 SW 2nd St.) from 12-4pm on April 22, 2023.
